What is Body-Oriented Coaching? In body-oriented coaching clients learn that the key to change lies in the combination of feeling and insight. Insight alone is often insufficient if there are limiting feelings deep inside. Guidance through conversations leads to more insight, but body-oriented coaching assumes that actual change needs, in addition to the mental level, also the level of feeling and body awareness. With Body-Oriented Coaching you learn to make a powerful connection between body and mind, so that clients come into closer contact with their deeper feelings and desires. Body-oriented coaching uses methods such as haptonomy, breathing exercises, constellation work, body work and body drum release to promote the connection between body and mind. This makes this form of coaching particularly suitable for working with stress and burnout complaints, psychosomatic complaints and regaining vitality on a mental, emotional and physical level.
